Öz
Genç Tarihçi Okulu’nun en önemli temsilcilerinden Max Weber (1864-1920), Gustav von Schmoller (1838-1917) ve Werner Sombart (1863-1941) Schumpeter’in gerek kapitalizm analizi gerekse metodolojik yaklaşımı üzerinde önemli etkiye sahip olmuştur. Weber ve Schmoller’in Schumpeter üzerindeki etkisi literatürde sıkça vurgulanmakla birlikte Som-bart’ın Schumpeter üzerindeki etkisi yeterince tartışılmamıştır. Bu çalışma Schumpeter ve Sombart’ın metodolojik anlayışları ve kapitalizm analizleri arasındaki benzerliği ortaya koyarak Sombart’ın Schumpeter üzerindeki etkisini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışma iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde Som-bart ve Schumpeter’in metodolojik anlayışları arasındaki benzerlikler ortaya konulacak; çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde Schumpeter’in kapitalizm incelemesi üzerinde Sombart’ın etkisi tartışılacak ve Sombart’ın Schumpeter’in görüşleri üzerinde güçlü bir etkiye sahip olduğunun tartışılması ile çalışma son bulacaktır.

Werner Sombart’s Effect on Joseph A. Schumpeter
Abstract
Max Weber (1864-1920), Gustav von Schmoller (1838-1917) and Werner Sombart (1863-1941), who are among the most important representatives of the Young German Historical School, It had a significant impact on both Schumpeter’s analysis of capitalism and his methodological approach. Although the influence of Weber and Schmoller on Schumpeter is frequently emphasized in the literature, the influence of Sombart on Schumpeter has not been sufficiently discussed. This study aims to examine the effect of Sombart on Schumpe-ter by revealing the similarity between the methodological approaches of Schumpeter and Sombart and their analysis of capitalism. This study for this purpose consists of two parts. In the first part of the study, the similarities between the methodological approaches of Sombart and Schumpeter will be revealed; in the second part of the study, Sombart’s influ-ence on Schumpeter’s analysis of capitalism will be discussed and the study will end with the discussion that Sombart had a strong influence on Schumpeter’s views
